Drinking tap water

I would like to drink tap water; however, mine is cloudy and potentially contaminated with lead.

I drink from the tap all the time 🙂 I mean, if you're living in your own home and you know what the water is like, then defo. But if I know that the water isn't good, then won't

I used to drink from the tap till the day my cousin got ill, and the doctor, after some diagnosis, suggested that he should change the type of water that he drinks.

That was the day that I changed my decision on taking tap water because we stayed together, and whatever the doctor said should be a message for all of us. I still have neighbours around who take tap water with zero complaints, but my family is being careful to avoid a repeat of what happened to my cousin.

You made that decision because of a real experience in your family, which is understandable. When someone close to you gets ill and a doctor links it to something as everyday as drinking water, it naturally makes you more cautious. Even if others around you drink tap water without problems, your choice is about preventing the same thing from happening again to your family.

Yes. That was exactly the situation that made us change from drinking tap water. I would say we were being careful and it wasn't a bad move at all since we've all been hearty and safer since then.

It's sachet or bottled water for me. Our tap water is so chemical filled that the natural taste of the water is eroded and it's pretty bad for my tongue.

Where I used to live they put chlorine in the water 🤢

The tap water here has a lot of fluoride in it and it smells very chemically. I understand cleaning it, but I shouldn’t be able to smell it. 😬

Sadly it used to be so bad at the start that you could smell it and almost want to vomit when having a shower.
