Over the course of my time on forums, I have ran into the occasional drunk person. Now, I will have a beer or two after work when Im relaxing and thats no big deal... But some people like to sit at their computer and drink glass after glass of wine, can after can of beer, etc until they are totally drunk. Then they go around acting a fool all over the place. If you have encountered this, do you find this to be funny or annoying? Do you think people should stay off the computer while drunk?
...I've actually on a couple occations got to posting on forums totally plastered (I don't make a habit out of it mind you)....Nine times out of ten the individual regrest it on their own the following morning.
When I encounter them I usually just sit back and watch them make fools of them selves personally.
Oh dear... This can be both hilarious and shocking. I've gone online a few times after a few beers, but I've never done anything bad. However some of the stuff the odd member posted made me laugh my head off. The member (or should I say, Admin) in question at least had the sense to keep it to the spam forum. 😛
Suffice to say the activity in said forum increased by about fifteen per cent during his time there
During my forum owning stage, I haven't had one member that ever came on the site drunk. If I had, I don't think I'd've known what to watch out for over the Internet. I know what to look for in real life, but behind the computer screen would've been another story.
I think drunken posters rule!! They are way more fun and liberated.Although i have never done this myself i would love to be able to get so absolutely drunk i could tell people exactly what i think of them and what i know about them
I have never really had someone tell me they were posting while drunk, but that doesn't mean too much, so I don't know how many I've run in to. It's a bad idea to post while drunk if you ask me, but it's all right as long as they don't make a fool of themselves.
Well, talking about this again, I guess you could say my friend logged out of out conversation after I asked him if he had needed to be "dragged back home" after getting drunk.
