It's a real simple design and easy to understand, but I would open up your forum for public viewing. As it is now, I see nothing.

I think the addition of a banner could help with the overall appeal of the forum. Also, the icons for the forums could be better chosen, as the current ones are white matted, so it is for light coloured forums (noted by the white bits around the icon).
