Dunkin VS Krispy Kreme

I agree DD does have cake - like donuts which are too cakey. KK has always had better tasting donuts and always will.
It's been almost a decade since I've had either one probably?? Maybe slightly less than that, but I do remember that Krispy Kreme donuts were nice off the assembly line. They used to give freebies as you waited to order. I've never had their coffee though and our Dunkin Donuts place is awful here, but better in other states.
I am all about a local donut shop in my town. People come from all over just to get their donuts.

However if I was going to decide between the two, I would go with Krispy Kreme. The one in my city went out of business but there is a location in a nearby city 30 minutes away. Sometimes I stop in there when I am over that way.

Krispy Kreme for donuts, Dunkin for coffee. I think Dunkin's donuts are bland tasting and I don't like them. Their donut holes are good though at least.
Krispy Kreme for sure! I don't mind Dunkin's donuts, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Krispy Kreme just because the donuts taste like they're better quality. I do appreciate that Dunkin has the Boston Kreme and maple iced donuts though; two of my favorites that I usually get there if I'm in the mood for donuts.
As for coffee, I feel like it's hit or miss at both. Sometimes, I get a great cup of coffee. Other times, it's not so great. I usually only go for coffee when I'm already going there to get donuts (or in Dunkin's case, a breakfast sandwich), but between the two, I'd do Dunkin for coffee. Dunkin just has a better coffee selection compared to Krispy Kreme. (They also just have a better overall drink selection than Krispy Kreme, so I'm not just limited to coffee if I decide I want to drop in for food.)
