Duplicate meta descriptions

Hello

I recently added my forum (phpbb3) to Google Webmaster and when I clicked the HTML Suggestions, it showed me that I have Duplicate meta descriptions (36 pages), Short meta descriptions (36 pages) and Duplicate title tags (10 pages). From my point of view, it's a little odd, because every topic name and meta description have to be "unique", I'm saying that it must not repeat.. ( I hope you understand what I'm trying to say 🙂 ) Can somebody help me to fix this problem?

I personally don't think this is an issue. If you owned a website, you have the ability to control each page's description by adding a custom description. For a forum, it would be almost impossible to get different descriptions of your liking as there would potentially be millions of pages (try adding a description for each of them). Since it's a forum, I would be looking at content which would help your rankings.
