The reviews were pretty poor actually, it got like a 30% on rotten tomatoes.

I thought it was alright personally. I saw it a little over a year ago, not in the theater but at home on DVD. It had a kind of stupid plot and it was very unoriginal, like it borrowed from a lot of other movies. The stuff with the brother and stuff was interesting and the end was kinda cool but other than that it's not something that like warrants running out of the house to get it.

Ah, Eagle Eye is one of my favourite movies. I need to watch it again some time.

I agree, and Shia usually leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It's not that I feel he's bad, but that some of the roles he's getting would be more befitting a stronger actor, but he did a good job in this film.

I'm just biased against him because I despise the Transformer movies. He has been excellent in his last few movies.
