How far in advance do you start your Christmas shopping? Do you wait till the last minute to shop for Christmas? Why?
I'm a last minute type guy. I just procrastinate a lot, which means I forget about stuff until it actually needs to be done. So for Christmas shopping that sometimes means I have to go to the store and buy stuff on December 23rd.

I prefer getting my Christmas shopping done early. That way, I can enjoy the holiday season without running around like a chicken with its head cut off because I'm trying to find Christmas presents at the last minute. I just finished up the last of my Christmas shopping today actually. Now I have at least a month and a half to get everything wrapped and put under the tree.
You're really together then. :O I don't think of Christmas shopping as stressful. I really don't worry about it that much until I realize it needs to be done. After I realize it needs to get done, my family generally enjoys the same thing every year, so it isn't difficult to shop for them.Grimalkin said:

Some people don't like giving on gift cards for some reason. I dunno why, because gift cards are the second best gift (second only to cash itself). I generally am happy with just a Walmart or Visa gift card myself, though.

Anyway, I usually start pretty late, maybe around mid December. I always make sure I finish before christmas eve though, because going into anywhere on that day is a nightmare.

I hate Christmas shopping. It's just terrible! There are so many nuisances on the road and in the shops. Buut it's not so bad if you're there with someone. It's chaos but a fun chaos, and you can always get a laugh out of the desperation of some to buy ALL the things at once.
I myself am a late shopper, unless there's something I know will go quickly, in which case I'll buy like mid-year or well and truly in advance.

We do our Christmas shopping so we can avoid the chaotic shopping in December and can just enjoy the Christmas holiday events. We actually already started our Christmas shopping! My immediate family and relatives are already swapping Christmas gift lists and I've also already have done some Christmas shopping.

It depends for me, I end up usually shopping the last minute if I don't pay attention to the date.
Depends on how much money I have and how busy that I am.. Yet it's both lol.
