Earthquake

Did anyone else feel the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that rocked the east coast today? I was at home when it hit. I didn't think we got earthquakes here in Virginia.

I'm in Massachusetts, and I didn't feel anything. My dad apparently noticed some stuff shaking in the house, though, so it at least did get felt up here. Wouldn't know, I was driving home at the time of the earthquake apparently. What a daredevil I am, I know.

Haven't been in an earthquake in about a year. The last earthquake around here caused things to visibly shake, including our flag pole. Was a 4.6 I believe.

I felt it in South Brooklyn, and at first I thought it was just me, until my cat threw herself into the room and gave me a look of "WTF don't you feel that?"

Supposedly it was felt in Michigan, in areas past where I live, but I didn't feel it at all, and no one in my family did either.

If it was felt in Michigan, then it should have been felt where I am, Indiana. But I didn't feel anything, figure I was too far away from it.

Supposedly it was felt as far away as Chicago, but like I said I didn't feel anything. Maybe something did happen, but we're so far away that we didn't notice 😛

People here said their whole house shook. I was on my motorcycle when it happen and didnt notice anything..

I talked to my parents after the quake. They were driving and said they didn't feel anything either.

The east coast is only days away from getting hit with a big hurricane. Odd everything is happening around the same time. What a coincidence.

Yeah, it all seems really weird to me. This year these things have been coming in waves, like the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, then the tornadoes in Missouri, now multiple earthquakes and a big hurricane.
