Easier to make money with quality or quantity ?

I think it needs to be a mix of both quality and quantity since if you spend all your time on one excellent quality post per day, and not post enough posts then you might not have many returning visitors due to inactivity which can affect your earnings from returning ad clickers. But, if your quality of your forum is bad people might not want to join or buy a paid membership.
