I don't know but I imagine they would somehow penalize or close your account. I guess that is why some people won't accept bids from people with low ratings.

They put an unpaid item strike on your account and they will basically force the money from you or give the person that put the item up for bid a insertion fee refund.

Then they will close your eBay & PayPal account, and depending on the price of the item, probably take legal action.

They won't close your account you will probably just get a strike which can have an effect if people sell something to you.

Ebay will send you a message requesting payment, if you then decide not to pay then the seller can put a seller strike against your name and you may not be able to buy for a certain amount of time. Ive had to do it myself to someone as they refused to pay after contacting them several times.

Dude don't think about doing it, it's horrible, it's scamming, and it's wrong. You wouldn't like it if someone did it to you.
