I think eBay is more profitable if your selling collectors items, and stuff collectors actually want like rare "Star Wars Movie Posters or Action Figures" from the 90s.
But, Craigslist might be more profitable selling average stuff like local concert or football tickets in your town, and used TVs, and tables.
If I was selling T-shirts, mugs, and mouse pad with my forum logo on it which I made myself for members to buy I just use eBay, and other online sites which accept Paypal as a payment option since I doubt many of my forum members live locally where I live, so Craigslist is not great for selling forum clothing.
