Well. The news came in this morning that the Ebola Virus has officially left Africa after a man who has traveled to Dallas from Liberia was diagnosed this morning.

Though, from what I understand Ebola is not the most contagious disease and spreads more through contact with bodily fluids than it does through sharing air or anything like that (please, excuse my ignorance there.)

Definitely a worry - even if this the only case outside of Western Africa.

Let us just hope it remains to be just one case and ends there. I personally don't think it will become an outbreak in North America.

Nor do I, to be honest with you.
But while we're hoping for things, let's hope for relief for West Africa as well.

Agreed. I just heard about it this morning. Ebola is a very deadly disease. Hoping for the best with those who are coping with it.

This virus is not good at all. Everyone is dying and it is growing out of control, but not much we can do it about it sadly.

It is a sad thing to see. 🙁

It's definitely a little worrisome, but I believe it will be contained in the United States. I'm not worried about it spreading out of control here. Unfortunately, West Africa is a different story. I hope countries around the world will continue to help fight Ebola in that region. If continue to spread uncontrolled, countries like the US should consider closing there borders to people traveling from that part of the world.

I hope those who are victims of it recover well. It's a deadly disease but I'm not worried about it. There are thousands of diseases out there that any one of us could catch so why just be worried about this one? I'm not worried about catching any diseases. If it happens, it happens and we have doctor's to look out for us.
