Have you seen the Split Screen option on the Edge browser yet? I am using it today and really love it. It kind of reminds me of when I used two monitors at work!! I only have 1 monitor currently, and it's not a huge screen, but it's still a cool option to use and will come in handy when I work on edits or even when I'm working on videos and need to refer back to author's emails.

I have not used that option yet, I do not see the need to even use it lol

Do you do any editing? Or work off of people's ideas? That's how it could be useful, with an email open on one side and the workspace on the other.

nope but having charts and documents then yearh

Honestly thought about switching over to Edge lately. It has lots of nice features now compared to Firefox. Granted, I’m not much into needing to multitask with a browser, but it could very much come in handy at times when I do need the ability. I’ll give it a go.

I don't use Edge on my own computer, just at work. I can see this being very handy for those with only one screen! I have two monitors at work so I don't need to use this feature.

I have two computer systems, one which drives my recording studio and the other that does everything else. Both systems have between two and three screens active because it provides a huge boost in productivity. Split screens on a single monitor gives a reduced but similar result.

I've looked at Edge and think it a big improvement over IE but I still prefer Firefox.

How is this is a useful feature? Couldn't you just drag the tab into a new window and place it next to your existing Edge-window? Probably takes up much less space this way, too.

I did not know they had that option. I have been using Opera GX since around February and only use Edge now if I need to.

I will have to check this and see how it is 🙂
