I want to make the prosilver template totally different, but I have no clue what the color codes are. Anyway one can find that out and get back to me? I want to totally renovate the site and make it look nicer, hence while still using the prosilver template, theme, whatever.
Well I don't want to seem like I'm just advertising, but this is a style I made from modding that style your using (Prosilver) http://www.djforums.info/phpbb/index.php.
If you are not familiar with coding and hex colours it will be nearly impossible for you to mod and change prosilver to make it 'better'.
Here are some colours that might be useful to you...
#006600 : Green
#BF0000 : Red
#000000 : Black
#FFFFFF : White
#CADCEB : Grey
They are a few easy hex colours to remember. It is quite hard modding styles but if you want me to make you a custom phpBB3 style, I wouldn't mind, it would cost you money however though, because of course it is very hard to do.
Those codes you gave me right there will give me some idea of things to play with. That looks like a very nice site. The logo blends in with the theme and everything. Looks great.
Thanks for the comments. Well those colour codes will change the colour to the required colour but as for just general changing it, it will be a lot of hard work.
Okay, I'm slowly figuring out how to edit the template. Actually it's the whole style I'm editing, really. I'm kind of trying to make Subsilver like Subblack like it was on PHPBB2. Except the text will be white instead of Gold. http://www.chattingtime.fantastichostin ... /index.php You see that part on the top there where it says PHPBB (the main sites logo) and then it has the Chatting Time part all in white? I want to change that to Black, and then I want to change the index part to black. What am I doing wrong? BTW, I would advise you all to clear the cache when it's done.
Well in order to have that header bit at the top black, you will need to edit the images called bg_header and bg_list located in the theme/images folder :great:
