Editing Php Files

Hello,

I've just installed the Ultimate Points MOD, and it seems that their is a file issue...when I wish to view a topic on my forum, I get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/..../public_html/viewtopic.php on line 994

Could someone explain this issue to me please? I guess it might be a problem in the viewtopic.php file ..but line 994? (Line 994 where, and how do I know where 994 is?)

Open the file and check your edits again, by the looks of it you've missed one small thing, or spacing could be causing it etc.

If you'd like you can post the code of the viewtopic.php it is complaining about here and I or someone else can help you solve this problem.
