When we go to our banking website and want to transfer money from one account of ours to another one of ours do we use special characters "$ . ,"....etc or do we use straight numbers 2346...etc

So if I want to transfer one thousand dollars would I type in the transfer box;

$1,000.00
$1,000
1,000.00
1,000
1000

I am thinking we just use straight numbers like "1000"

Maybe it auto fills the ".00"...etc

?

When I pay my credit card bill on my online banking acount. I just type in the number because there is already a $ sign in front of the textbox, and ther is an example on how to type it at the bottom of the text box.

It is best to ask your bank for help since it could be different from bank to bank.

I use UK Lloyds TSB. I put 1000 and the system automatically adds .00 at the end. It has a Static £ symbol at the beginning.
