Hi, I was wondering anyone has any experience with elgato video capture cards? I currently stream sporting events from our camera to our laptop. But right now, the audio is all screwed up like it sounds like a alien, and then our video skips frames. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Or any help?

Please list the:

- Camera
- Computer
- Connection between camera and pc
- Software

You are using, So I can help you. 🙂

Camera is a canon DC420

Computer is dell Latitude E5420

Elgato Video Capture Card

Software that we use to stream the stream is PlayonSports.

Is the audio also slow and juttery?.

Try ajusting The Latency, In the software settings.

Maybe an external mic would help with the audio. I once had a webcam mic with very bad audio quality, and sounded like an alien and picked up a lot of static.

For the skippy audio, recording at a lower quality setting might help.

If he's Using a Video Camera, The Mic in that should work ok.

Ive Read on google, That people are getting similar problems.

My friend has experience with one of these, he loved it! It works great, and the quality was amazing for him.
