I have been watching this fork of SMF for a while and they just released the final version. Check it out, don't compare it to SMF it is vastly different.

Here is the link

I've got some responses to give to it. Keep in mind, that this is all my opinion.
Code refactored to MVC standards and use of basic OOP (and more to come in the next releases!)
That's not necessarily a good thing. MVC can be abit of a learning curve for many developers and I thought that the whole point of MVC was for it to be object oriented?

Clean modern theme using HTML5/CSS3 with two variants and a responsive design
Good idea, I'm doing a similar thing with ABB. It's a shame that many of the mainstream forum software are passing this over. Mobile is serious business.

Like system for posts
Meh. Not something which is too important and something which most forum software seem to be working towards anyway.

User Mentions, @mention a user in a post to send an alert to them
Alerts? Please elaborate. If it's a proper alert system then, that's infinitely more interesting than the Like feature.
As for mentions, it's not a bad addition, but every forum software has it on their roadmaps for the immediate future, as far as I know.

Auto minification and combining of CSS and JS files to save bandwidth and requests
I'm not sure that admins really care about how you achieve your performance / bandwidth optimisations, but good job.

Drafts for PM's and posts
How is this a unique feature? This one is fairly standard, for the most part.

Bad Behavior anti spam built in
Please elaborate.

Drag and drop file attachment
Nice. More forum software should do things like this.

Should definitely have better URL's, URL's with the topic ID in it make it easy for spambots and harder for search engines.

Good start though.

There are good things and some things that everyone has, the thing I like most is that they are willing to listen when it comes to features and mods, Unlike SMF.
