What would you pick?

[email protected] - yourname @ your domain

or

[email protected] - yourfirstname @ yoursecondname

It would have to be .ie as that's the only free domain with my second name.
Im only not sure as I don't know if I like the .ie or not.

hmm, it up to you. But from my systems engineers point of view if you were to implement it in a business you most likely go for [email protected] or
[email protected]
that is a few other options you can add to the mix.
But personally i would go for the first one.

Regards,
Patrick

Thanks for that, I didn't think of it like that. I will probably go for the @garfiun.co.uk since I am trying to localize all my projects through that central name. Im trying to brand it.

Yes i'd also choose the co.uk

I have got a gmail but Im looking to move all my accounts to the one place. So that garfiun.co.uk is my hub for everything, personal and business. I have my personal email set up but can't really think of a name to use for a business one. Normally I use Garfiun but I can't have [email protected]

What Part of your buisiness?

Maybe:

admin@

contact@

support @

webmaster@

The main account, so like the webmaster. But something a bit more businessy :?

salesrep@

sales@

salesassistant@

purchase@

probably

contact@

is best for general.

hmm, I have setup some windows networks with office@ which forwards emails to the right office people. What I done for my Pvcomputers email i setup forwarding addresses for each of our project. That is another way to look at it.

Garfiun if I was you I would go with the email address at your own domain name. It will help promote your site and the .ie TLD is Irish and well known in Ireland, but may be a little difficult to remember for those not familiar with it, i.e. those from other countries.

That is what I thought .ie is forgettable but the domain I was looking at is owned by a car manufacturer 🙁 . I will just go for [email protected] I do like the sound of Contact or something similar.
