Email spam

I sent a Private Message to all the registered members on my forum yesturday. The problem is, it keeps spamming emails saying they have a new private message and i don't know how to stop it. Each email is exactly the same, just sent at different times through out the day. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I also dont know what this is, some serious bug I am afraid. I keep getting it, I really hope someone here knows the fix.

If it is in phpBB3 then in the cache directory you should see a file called queue.php If there is a file called that then delete that file.

EDIT: When i deleted the file it made a new one called queue.php.lock, is that normal?
