Emails Per Day?

Me and a mate are just leaving our inbox and trying to see how many emails we can get, and they have to be legit emails.

He has about 5,000 emails and i have 3,600. -lol-

But i think i get about 30 - 40 a day?
 
I have a plan for something to do with BlueHumor.org that will aim to catch as many spam emails as possible. That's a picture of my real email though -happy-

I get quite a few daily, and since I have spam filters in place, every one of those emails is something I actually need to know about.

I also have every email forwarded to my cell phone via text message, can you imagine how high my bill would be if I didn't have unlimited? -😉-

Nope, it's still going to happen. I want to release all that stuff once I have my server, as it'll handle all the emails anyway. If I lanuch it now, the emails would stockpile on the current hosting and wouldn't carry over to my server, and wouldn't count toward our totals.
 
I get a few from my forum's contact email. I get a lot from work and those are the important ones as its usually one of my boss's telling me to do something. Email seems to be the primary way of communication at my job. We use Microsoft outlook and it can be like an instant messenger if the other person is online at the same time. Every time you get an email, a little icon appears in the bottom corner of the screen and the computer makes a sound.
 
I get around 50 a day, but I have a few work and personal e-mails & spam filters don't catch everything either.
 
The sad part is, none of those emails are spam, they are all important, and that's what I get everyday...if I let them build up, then i'd have 8,000+ in no time -lol-
 
Sorry to say it but that isn't that bad..

I am registered for 3 newletters I am constantly getting emails on some bookmarked topic that I really want updates on.. I also get emails when a member pms me on my forum so that I can respond quicker..

And then there is the personal emails.. Oh and emails from co-workers. And college...

Then there is other forums that I am registered to sending out mass emails for various reasons..

Needless to say, I get plenty as well..
 
I try to keep e-mail income as low as possible, saves server space (can't be assed to keep deleting mail or set it up to automatically do it) & is much better to just have valid mail coming through.
 
I think I only get about two or three e-mail messages a day, usually Youtube comment replies. I consider myself lucky if I DO find some, though.

I've only gotten one scam e-mail, which was clever. Too bad I run a Google search on every suspicious e-mail I get!

I have three email accounts as my mains right now, (although in that picture I only had two setup), and i'm sure they will be more later on. I get a few personal emails, although I prefer msn if possible, simply because it's quite a bit quicker. Same goes for co-workers, (in my case my GWN team). I don't attend college, and *never* write down my email for school stuff, as they just spam it.

Forum mass emails are the worst, which is why I block most of them, when you signup, un-check the 'allow admins to send me emails' box. I do get PM alerts emailed to me though, and I use the 'watch topic' feature alot as well.

I wonder how many I would get if I removed my spam filters... -lol-
 
On my @forumpromotion.net email i get about 10 real emails a day with all emails marked as spam by spam assasin being auto deleted. On my Gmail account i have about 2 real emails a day and 200 spam emails a day -lol-

On my college email i get about 1 real email a month -lol-

I wake up to opera too (on one computer).
One of my spam email accounts has 55,000 unread about 57,000 total. My main email account only has about 500 total (all read), but there is actually a lot more, since GMail has replies come in like a forum thread rather then a new email.
 
I get around 50 emails a day, about 10 of those are legit and the other 40 are about marketing scams your typical drugs, sex etc. Their so annoying and i don't know how they got my email. Makes me think.
 
I don't keep track anymore..My email has like 525 emails in it from over a month.

All it takes is for you to give it out to one dodgy site and you will get bombarded with spam.
