Hello! My name is Gundy. (or Terry, if you visit Emathars forum) I am one of three principal creators for the fantasy world Emathar.
I love creating things. I am a musician, I work with wood in my parents shop every now and then, I create business opportunity's for myself, among other things. I also love to collaborate with people, to combine our creative juices so to speak, and make something that neither of us could have done on our own. I believe that these things are why, a few years back, I proposed the idea to my friends to create a new fantasy world. It has been a refreshing escape from everyday life, to sit down, get the gears of my mind to turn and think of a way that things could work in an alternative universe.
Sounds fun, right? Well, I want more people to get involved. I would like to have more creative minds working on the project, and it would be beyond my wildest dreams to have someone involved who was willing to do some concept drawings, or help me create a map or two! All I ask of you is to visit Emathar's forum and see if this is right for you. If you think it might be, and you could contribute your brain power to the cause, then please either send me an Email at [email protected] or post in the "introductions" forum to tell me why you want to get involved, why you think you are a creative person and what type of food you would have me buy if you were staying at my house for a week! (the type of food a person eats can tell a lot about their personality! 🙂
(also, if you think Emathar's forum is disorganized, just remember I've spent most of my time thinking about what this city should be named, and would it make sense for these people to have this type of technology, etc... If more people get involved, then I will most definitely put some serious time into organization and protocol for the forum.)
If you want to know how serious my friends and I are about creating Emathar, just realize my good buddy B_rad has been working on 3 or 4 languages for the different races for over 2 years now. real, working languages. yes, be jealous. :great:
