Yup we are still around. We just finished a huge upgrade/migration. We have made many changes and upgrades since our topic here a while back. We have grown and evolved and we are in a place where we are comfortable to take on new growth(a lot of new growth). I was ready to write a completely new post for this topic. I was thinking though what a better way to transition. I decided to use this old post and update it and let it also evolve in front of you 🙂

I just recently thought that this would be a good idea if we needed to upgrade or there was an issue. I will look into a more permanent offsite solution ASAP.

Empire Hostings has been around over 3 years now!!
We just completed a migration to a new server. This server is much more powerful than our old server. It will also allow us much more room to grow without any need to move.
We also have a second Webmin/Virtualmin server. This server is more geared towards developers as it has a Jenkins, SVN, etc. however anyone can choose this when they order if they like. These plans will also be slightly cheaper.
We now offer SSL certificates at a very affordable rate.
Security - This has been in place a while now but it still feels important to mention. We have several layers of security in place. From a firewall to a scanner that checks each file as it's uploaded. Of course we can't go into more detail however we want you to just feel better it's there.
Old News
We have done away with the Free Trial package and instead have decided to offer a free hosting package. The package is totally free. The only thing we require is a link back to us in your overall footer. For example Hosted Free By: Empire Hostings. No banners or anything of the sort will be forced on your site. This is something we will never do.
The package details are as follows. You will get 500MB of space and 10GB of bandwidth. It comes with 2 FTP accounts, 5 E-Mail accounts, 2 Databases, 5 Sub and parked domains, and 2 addon domains. These limits may be raised slightly but not lowered.
We hope this to be a great addition to the services we already offer.
