Thanks for mentioning that. The error was a result of the coupon code not being set to work with the Free Hosting plan. Even tho it's free the coupon still needs to be allowed to be applied to it. I am going to apply the 20% coupon to your account and add the small credit for the extra 10% to your account as well.

thats a great news and can you tell can we add funds directly to EH account from alertpay or we have to use some other way.
The help Shadow has given me with EH has been more than any other host would help. He's willing to help any time of the day and answers most support questions in under an hour.
I recommend this hosting to anyone. In fact there has really been no downtime whatsoever. Maybe half an hour or so last week but that was due to a host upgrade.

Our server experienced a hard drive failure today. Our data center is working as fast as possible to get us back up. I will keep this updated as I get news.
Update: Our data center is trying to pull the data from the old drive. That way there is no loss of data from restoring a backup.
Update: I just received the following from our data center.
Update: All of the information from our old drive was recovered. We are now finalizing the configuration and such and hope to have all sites on line within the next 30 min to 1 hour.
Update: The server is back up. All sites should be restored to their point right before the crash. There are a few lingering backend issues that only cpanel users may notice. Plus a few we had to give special ModSec rules to. However these will be resolved shortly. All customers will receive an email shortly.
There was 0 data loss with the crash 🙂

We are preparing a system to reward activity on our forum. Here is the post I made about it today.
The previous hardware failure has not set us back one bit. I am proud of how prepared we were and that there was no data loss to our clients. The one oversight to it was that we did not have an off server contact list for our clients however that has been remedied now. I will also list my off server email in the Original Post so people can easily contact me.

I love EH, it is very speedy and Sshadow is very helpful. I'm a part of the support staff, and some of you might be thinking, "Oh well his opinion is just going to be biased.", Well since working on the PT and RT team here, I've learned to keep my personal life out of giving opinions about companies and I must say this company is top notch and would be great for any site your hosting. (Unless it's illegal, we are not offshore !) 🙂
