Google Analytics as we know it will be going away as of July 1, 2023, and all of your site data will be removed six months after that date:

Google suggests you move to "Google Analytics 4" aka “GA4”, but don't be fooled — "GA4" is an entirely different metric tool that bears little resemblance to the GA you know. It's not a viable alternative and I believe its metrics will be useless for most people here.

That's something I wasn't expecting. I'm not a massive user but those metrics have proved very useful on a number of occasions.

It's about them cutting back on things so that they can maybe earn more money right? By having free things going away 😛 I have and I do have google analytics setup myself but the truth is that I never really bother to check it 😛

Anyway I do have backups and other returnitve

I don't think this is the end of GA like people think it is. It’s just moving away from the old, legacy GA. I already moved my GA to the new GA like around two years ago. This is just them sunsetting ONE part of GA.

IPB has done the same also in the Amin Pannel. They added other returnitve and options to choose 😉 It's built into the software just make a free or paid subscription account and add the code. Matomo

The analytics avaliable in GA4 are very similar, if not identical, to the current setup. This will have little to no impact on the end user except a cleaner UI and a more smooth experience
