End Of The World ?

This, I just don't believe in it and people already said that the world would end on 6.6.6 but it didn't happen so... 🙂 And it's just hard to believe that the world will end just because the Mayan calender ends that year. It's total bull imo.Van1lla ™ said:
You guys get serious. No one knows if the end of the world will happen or not, so quit saying that it will or it won't because no one knows yet. No science in the world can tell us anything that will happen in the future besides weather forecasting; and even the weatherman isn't right 75% of the time.
However, I do believe that this might happen on December 21, 2012. If you watch the Discovery and History channels on TV, you will be amazed on some things that were announced. What I know is that the Mayans were the ones to discover the stars and planets before anyone else; plus, they knew everything they could about them way before technology was even developed in time. Notrodamous (however you spell his name) is another person who believed that the world will end on December 21, 2012.
Anyway, it was said about 4 official times in the past that the world would end, but has that come to conclusion yet? No. We don't know what will happen or when anything will happen. We humans are all just curious cats that are about to get their heads chopped up due to major curiosity. I, myself, do believe that the world is coming to an end because of the lack of actvity people are willing to take to save the environment. If you really think about it, when you are driving around in town, there is at least one manmade alongside the road every half a mile no matter if it's a Stop sign, a building, or anything manmade- it's still a production of man, and soon, the whole Earth will become that. It won't be long until the Earth does give out on us, so there's nothing surprisingly suspectful in the future.

Well we are saying it wont to the time that has been given, you look at the events which are supposed to unfold and its all happened before in the past. Like the poles switching...how would that cause the end of the world? And no one is doing anything about global warming because its a natural occurrence, we are saying to people dont release as much carbon dioxide and all that when the sea/oceans themselves produce more carbon dioxide than us.

The world will simply not end in 2012 but end someday in many thousands of years to come when the sun finally breaks into a small star and the scientists can sole out the rest.
