Very unlike the new owners, whilst at Brum they didnt really sack anyone and gave the managers a lot of time. Obviously they are after something else.

There's big rumours (internal memo leak) of a pre-season friendly on Aug 7th between Stoke city and Glasgow rangers at the Brit, both fan sites are extremely excited, both teams are renowned for their support and there is talk of 20,000 Rangers fans invading our city. We await the weekend to see if it is to be confirmed.

Glasgow is up the road from me, so is Ibrox, Rangers stadium, I might consider going if I cba.

I visited the Ibrox last September and did the tour, it was a great afternoon. There are old links with both teams, the "Loving Cup" is still used today to toast the Queen on the first home game of the season by both managers.
