I have added a Community Advice & Snippets forum - The aim is to provide practical tips and advice that you can use to create an active and engaged community. With this I hope to bring you valuable information and advice how to manage your community, enhance your community management skills. These are small articles / snippets that don't really belong in our articles add on because they're too small. I want to separate them from our regular discussions that aren't always focused on bringing knowledge but rather chit-chat. Still, I encourage them to threat like discussions where you are of course allowed to disagree with my opinions or bring your own advice. So, if you have any feedback or ideas to improve this - let me know 😀

I like the idea of it and the layout! The way it looks is cool as well, and it appears inviting. I enjoy having these posts and you're directing the question back to the reader.

Much thanks everyone. More snippets have been released.

Visit Community Advice & Snippets - don’t be afraid to have a read, you might learn something 😉 and if you have learned something, drop us some feedback.

Looks good @Aerodynamic
Refreshing to see a webmaster forum doing different staff other than discussing the same topics over and over.

My suggestion is to get the images to be abit higher resolution though. They are pretty blurry.

Thank you Jordan, much appreciated. I assume you're talking about the resolution when watching it through mobile. Desktop shows them perfectly while mobile crops them a bit blurry indeed. Have not looked into fixing that yet, but I'll definitely take your feedback and try to resolve that soon. You are of course most welcomed to join if you manage to find some time in your busy schedule. 😀

On desktop too. I rarely visit sites on mobile 😛

Oh, it might be caused by a lazy load add on, but I'd need to check into it to verify.

Maybe it's supposed to make people join to "see" the image lol.
Ha - you got me. No, it would have the reverse effect really, so I need to check into that and fix it for guests or guests will be thinking I can't upload a proper image. 😛

When I'm not logged in they look that way, but once I log in, they're crystal clear.
Actually this is the issue.

If you have attachments can't be viewed by guests, they will only load the thumbnails. Thus, the thumbnails being blown up to that size will look blurry.

This is indeed the issue. But the permissions are correctly setup.

I swear XF's permission system is weird.
