Error from park wrapper: domain.name is already configured.

Every time I try to add-on a domain, i get this error

Error from park wrapper: domain.name is already configured.

Any ideas?

How to Fix the Error from park wrapper and add the domain:

Colored paths should be replaced with your actual values.

yoursite.com = the addon domain name

acctusername = the account user that previously controlled the addon

Login via Root Shell access to your server box
Remove all occurrences of the "domain name" from the following files or locations

    /var/named/yoursite.com.db
        /var/cpanel/users/acctusername
        /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
        /etc/userdomains
        /etc/localdomains

Now simply try to add the addon domain again to your new account

Ok then contact your hosting provider to take care of that for you. I don't see there is any other way to do it but that.

Shooting them an email with that info will probably get it resolved. 🙂
