Well i certainly didn't see last night's result coming ~eeeek~ I would have expected Russia to beat Spain considering both team's performance in the tournament.

No supprise Torres was subbed off again.

I'm certainly looking forward to A Germany vs Spain final. I can see Germany having the slight edge on that game.THeir performcance through the tournament has been strong and consistent, whereas Spain's performance has been....questionable. ~smile~

Lol i expected for spain to beat russia but didnt think it b a whooping 😛 everyone wanted and expected russia to win just cos of how 'lucky' they've been and having guus hiddink as coach (never seen so many last minute goals in a tournament b4 😛 by all countries). And Torres come on the guy had like 7 close scoring shots not to mention "denied penalty" and spain somehow did even better with subs than full team 😛

If anyone saw how russia played then u can see y spain deserved to win.

Btw id like to know the last time Guus Hiddink actually took a team all the way to a cup either World or Euro since alot of commentators say he has alot to do with the teams that get far rather than just pure player skill. 😛

Anyway its been like 24 years or so since Spain has been this far so they deserve a long awaited win 😀

Hehehe England didn't even qualify. They got some great players though shame as a team they can't seem to get it together. I would've like to see em make it though. 🙂 ironically they were stopped by croatia for last spot and had trouble beating them and russia. Probably more deserving too

England beat Russia 3-0 at Wembley though..., i blame our failure to qualify on Steve Mclaren and the plastic pitch in Russia :lol:
