If you're like me and spend many hours a day online, you'll find Ads similar to the above on pretty much any site that serves paid advertising...trying to convince me to "save my lover" from some enchanted kingdom with elves and hot women.
Does anyone know what Evony is, who its aimed at and more importantly, why they make a point of it being played so discretely?! :shock:
It's aimed at guys, probably teens and up. They use the word "secretly" to help lure the idea that the game is full of things that others would probably find "bad" (IE, Porn and the such).
Never heard of the game, but it's probably a fake one built upon pre-recorded things with a loop 😉
Lol i play it in my spare time, all you gotta do is build castles manage a kindom etc its pretty gay all the things take ages to build and in real time so i build my walls they will take 15 hours and since the game updates in real time i leave it for 15 hours and bam my castle walls are upgraded, also my farm has farmed all my crops, iron mine got iron, etc.
That ad has been plastered all over google ads, the other forum i visit daily had managed to get them removed from there as some weren't really appropriate.
I've never played the game, and probably won't either =)
Meh, and if it's not Evony it's Civony or whatever... Yeah, I've seen it a lot. Always a woman with big boobs saying ''Start your journey now my Lord''.
How is it? I personally think it's smart cause majority of male's who use the internet would love a game which looks like that. I personally wouldn't but like i said others would. It just depends on what they want their target audience to be, it currently looks like 18+ males.
