I've heard of it, seen annoying popups about it constantly, but I've never played it so I may do in the near future.

I hate those ads. But my brother have played it and he said it's boring. Plus I'm scared to go there because it might give me a virus.

It does not give off viruses.. I use avast if it did it would detect it before it even finished loading the site. 😛

It's so they can get people registering, in the hope that the game is sexually suggestive. Which, as I assume from what you've said, it isn't.
