Ex-Staff Trying to ruin my site?

I recently hired a long term member on my forum as head of our content team and two days later he resigned stating he had been offered a staff position at another site, so i removed his powers. The next day he pm'd me asking if he could have his job back because he preffered our site because it is on XenForo. I rightfully refused to make him staff again because of his dis-loyalty and for the fact he had resigned as staff but had changed his mind. I then received a pm from him today stating he was sorry and he linked me to a thread on xenforo.com where my site was veiwed upon as a spammers site because he had changed xenforo's wiki page to link to my forum, i asked him why he did that and he just replied "for the lulz" so ive banned him and his ip but what can i do now? he seems the type who is determined and wont give up easily.

I have already messaged staff on xenforo and they are aware of the situation, i have said if they need evidence i can provide it 🙂

No jokes. Was glad to read you denied that member their position back.

Don't worry about the member. It does suck when someone stoops so low cause they're not getting their way ... even more confirming you made the right decision to let them go for good.

Save all screenshots and IP Adresses that he used. Then you can do what Murder he Wrote did with a spammer on FP, and contact his service provider if he breaks the law. That can include threats, harassment, and any of that junk. Then his service provider will call his parents, and I am sure he will get dealt with. Cyber crimes like death threats or any of that kind of stuff can also be taken to the police if it gets to that point. I would send him a long email stating what he is doing wrong, and if he does not stop that you will contact his isp and the police. That should get him to stop. If you have any other questions just PM me.

Also backing up your site on a more frequent basis could not hurt, just in case he successfully hacks your site. Which I doubt he will.
