Exploding chewing gum blows off students jaw

A chemistry student has been found dead with his jaw blown off by what is believed to be exploding chewing gum.

The cause was some of the chemicals that mixed with the gum.

Well, I think I can speak for him (oh god, I'm sorry for the punt) when I say when you get busy, you can set stuff down not really paying attention has to 'where' it's being set down at/by.
