This is a brand new forum that will definitely put your writing skills to the test. This is not like a writing challenge, where you create something that is entirely yours for each challenge. Over here, you'll have to help each other to finish a piece of fiction. In other words, you have to 'join' your imagination with that of the story's author!
In this forum, you get to start a story of your liking (and genre), just like in the other forums, but here, you can stop your story abruptly and leave it to the other members to take it forward. So it is up to some other member to analyse the situation and take the story forward suitably. After that either you or someone else can create the next 'chapter', and the process goes on.
As you can see, if the theme of your story is really good, then it can go on and on and on...!!! And only the original author can decide when it's time to put in those two words that signal that the story has been completed.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Start every story with an introduction. Introduce the characters and the location properly. This, of course, is flexible. New characters and places can be created by others, but that is up to you.
Specify the rules for your story that you would like the others to follow. For example, you can choose not to introduce anything new, or you can warn others not to meddle with the characters' health (this includes killing them!)
As I said before, it is up to you to decide when the story should end. If you feel that the story is straying away from the main theme, or it is being taken in a wrong direction, you can create the final chapter and put in the words "THE END"! But it is important that you finish the story before doing this.
