I would like it to be 1TB or 1.5TB

Honestly it depends on the size of the videos.

Yes it does some files could take upto 2GB some 10MB and it also depends on how many videos.

It is real... all hard drives are just sold in byte form. What you'll see on your computer with 1TB is around 909GB.

Also, movies are usually around 700MB unless they're bluray rips in case you want to see how many you can fit.

1 TB is generally considered to be 1000 GB, but a real TB is 1024 GB.

On the box it says it is 5-10% less then 1TB.
