Do you use an external mouse with your laptop? Is it connected via USB, Bluetooth, or cord?

If I have to I would use a USB mouse, I just cannot stand those wires anymore. My entire desktop is wireless so I have gotten used to not having wires.

All though I like the whole touchpad on laptops, unless I am doing picture editing it's just so much easier having the touchpad so you don't have to have a place for the mouse to be.

I have a wired mouse on the laptop right now as some times the mouse will just bug out when using the touchpad so I much prefer using the external mouse

I vastly prefer a USB mouse. Trackpads on most laptops are crappy. Looking at you, Lenovo Z710.

I've always done this with my laptop. I just can't stand using trackpads, they're inaccurate and I always hit them with the palm of my hand when I type haha.

Yeah, I cannot stand laptop trackpads. After using a mouse for so long, they just don't feel natural and they are very cumbersome!

I don't use an extranal mouse on my laptop, the laptop is my secondary computer that I mainly use to surf around the web from sofa, occasionally doing some blogging/posting. So I don't really have a need for a proper mouse for it.

Any actual work involving a computer is done using the desktop.

I use a USB mouse for my laptop, but most of the time I with with the mouse pad on my laptop.

I usually use a mouse. Got one of those apple ones. I tend to use the touchpad only when I have to.

I use a SteelSensei gaming mouse (wired USB). I like having a wired mouse because it doesn't rely on charging/changing batteries. So I never get into a situation where I power my computer on but my mouse is dead because I forgot to charge it/replace the batteries.

I have a USB mouse, which I use sometimes. The touchpad is what I'm most used to, but I guess it just comes down to preference. 😛

I've always been telling myself to get a new mouse specifically for my laptop, but it's been three years since I last used a mouse with a laptop. The MacBook undoubtedly has the best trackpad among laptops; the gestures makes it so flawless. Heck, I have a Magic Trackpad for my iMac that's used far more often than the Magic Mouse. I will most likely get the Magic Mouse 2 after it's announced, though. I'm certain to get a new mouse under the pretext of "for my laptop", but I have a feeling that it will be used mostly with my desktop rather than my portable.

I do feel the pain of playing games — especially shooters and osu! — on my laptop without a mouse, but gaming is not pervasive enough in my life to warrant one for my laptop, and I have my desktop around for that. I just need to get off my couch.
