Extremly large phpBB powered forum comes back online

How many huge phpBB based forums do you know of? Im talking 70,000+ members by the way. Well today, an exciting thing happened, one of these super forums re-appeared online after being shut down twice by police. The first time, back in 2001ish, and the second in 2006. Im happy to say this time around they hosted by...none other than The Pirate Bay -bigeyes-

Their main site still has their old skin, and proudly shows a message

Episode 19, in a network far far away a lone technician plugs in the final cable into an almost forgotten big machine complex, identified by a faded green label as 'ShareReactor'. Everything hums and comes alive. The first input from the technician is 'But what does it all mean?', to which the machines in unison reply: 42!

All old users can login with the same username, although the password will need reset.

Its always good to see a great forum back online, and in this case a great torrent site as well. I can honestly say that this is the bigegst phpBB powered site ive ever seen...feel free to link me to bigger if you know some -🙂-

A lot of people like the old feeling and simplicity of phpBB2, myself included ~razz~

He wouldn't have to. Only if someone found a back-door into his forum would he then need to upgrade.

Besides, the Admin is the phpBB Area 51 Web host...somehow I don't there are too many security holes in his site ~razz~

No mention of security codes, ard types, expiry dates, issue numbers and so forth! ~cry~ When people donate to me I want some quallity card information at the same time ~lol~ Not some measly $1 balance transfer ~razz~

only 456,000 posts ? for 70,000+ members thats pretty poor... that's less than 100,000 more than my forum but they have 69,000 more members!
