In case you're not aware of this God-sent computer tool, allow me to inform you. f.lux is a program that takes the hard colors off of your computer screen at night to make it into a "cool" colored screen. f.lux is even awesome during the day time. It turns your computer more to a "warm" type color. If you're someone who works at their computer all day, this is a must have. The stress it's able to take off your eyes is amazing. I have it on my phone and laptop. Have you tried this amazing program? If you haven't, what's stopping you?

I tried this, but couldn't really stand it unfortunately. I need the colors on my screen to be correct for some reason. Could be because I do a lot of designing and such.

Same, nothing works fine if you see everything in red.

I've been using this for five years and it's truly a lot easier on the eyes. I use it around two hours before bed time, otherwise allowing my eyes glued to a bright, blue screen—which suppresses melatonin, the hormone that helps us sleep—all the time will only hinder my sleep. I have a ridiculously hard time going to kip without the aid of this app; it's crucial to me because it's part of my routine to check emails and attend to other important matters using my computer every night.

I used to sideload f.lux to have the same effect on my phone, but thankfully we're finally going to have a similar, native functionality called Night Shift and it's going to be bundled with iOS 9.3 that's set for release some time next month. Glad they looked into the health benefits of a warmer screen.

I'm a designer, but considering most of my work is done during the day I have no qualms with this app. I only ever use it at night, which is when my eyes need it most.

I recently got it and it is okay. I only really use it at night time and it is a little bit weird when I first started using it but it feels quite good for the eyes now at night.
