I'm sure many of you have seen this going on in Facebook.

Could you please help me to understand this nonsense? People ARE SIGNING UP, every day. Actually every minute, every second, if you refresh the page. I'm SERIOUS. I can't understand how can you be so dumb? What in the hell is going on?!!
I'll copy the Facebook event information, I'll remove/edit the links:
The first 500,000 participants - Get Absolutely A FREE iPhone 4!

TO PARTICIPATE YOU WILL NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Click the "I'm Attending" button.

2. "Like" this page:
*********

http://www.facebook.com/TotallyFail****************
( YOU MUST like both pages to get your FREE iPhone 4!!)

3. Invite all of your friends, if you skip this step, the system will not register you. This is very important.

4. Write on the wall "Attending" and the iPhone model you want (White/Black, 16GB/32GB)
---------------------------------------------------------

All of the iPhone 4's will be sent after the event reaches 500 000 participants.

And if you can see, people keep signing up, hoping to get some 32GB white iPhones.

No offense, please!

I'm extremely shocked and amazed...

Haha. I am not surprised. A lot of stupid people out there.

I know some that have actually told me about it as if it worked for them and how I needed to do it. haha.

Nooo, I'm saying that they told me about it with them thinking it actually worked.

It's just like the ones that "hack" your account and have you click a link and activate the app to "watch a video" of which it than spams your friends list and everything else.

Smart black hat marketing 😉
