Facebook Groups Being Overrated

YouTube is a lot of fun when things start aligning up and working.

Consistency is going to be your biggest asset there.

When I started out on YouTube, I didn't expect over a couple dozen. I'm about 3,500 subscribers now but over half million views. Most of my dedicated fans are not subscribers because most of them don't get that part. I try not to let that worry me too much as I can't really monetize with ads anyways. I qualify but where I film requires permits a lot more than what I'd earn in profit.
Nothing ever happens over night for example my sites doing alright but there’s still along way to go.

Oh, I hate invites from unknown FB users personally.

Well, the problem is I just don't want too many feeds on my page. In fact, there are too many already. However, I do find the feeds of some strangers or "sort of strangers" to be interesting, though.

I've tried FB groups and never liked them. I feel like they can randomize everything before showing it to me and when I reload it's different. Especially a problem for groups will less active members. When they are active it's not bad but I never found anything as constructive and well-meant as a forum.

People love saying, Facebook Groups took over forums but this isn’t true.

Forums are engaging.
It depends on how the Facebook group is set and run by the administrators. I have seen very good ones.

I use Facebook but I still personally wouldn’t run one, Then your subjected to Facebook rules where with a forum I only got my rules.

Some Facebook forums have been ruined by spam. They have to be moderated or have admin post approval.

people think only forums get spam but there's been a lot of bot scam accounts and spam attacks on Facebook groups lately.

Yeah, I saw one of those on a really good drumming group. A reply to a post went off-topic and started some conversation that seemed commercial, and it was like it wasn't just him but a whole gang was doing it.

That's interesting. I had to register with Facebook in order to test out a Facebook login on a forum I was working on. The first time I looked at a Facebook page I honestly couldn't work out what I was looking at plus I kept getting invites from teenage girls supposedly based in South America.

To this day I've never understood the whys and wherefores and I haven't been back since. I found the whole experience beyond weird.

Somewhat agree, not as organised as forums though, I do like Facebook’s hash tag feature.

Facebook hashtags are great when you are searching for some keywords. This is what I use when I want to get some information.

Certainly Facebook groups has its own benefits, but I will certainly run back to forum any day if I want to get relevant information about s make money topic or s recent trend in the crypto industry.

If you join someone's group, you are just their audience, they will put your post into moderation. The groups that do not have moderation are flocked by spammers.

If you have a blog or youtube channel. I have noticed that facebook groups can bring good traffic. Not sure if forums are open to people promoting their blogs or youtube videos but a lot of FB groups are open to that.
