Facebook Like: Are you using it?

Do you have this mod on your forum? And if so: Has it done what it's supposed to do and driven more traffic to your forum? I just recently installed it on my forum, so I can't say one way or the other.

As for the Facebook like button, I may be adding those soon. I love how Facebook is exapanding web-social communication.

I'm not really sure what you're referring to.

Well, I was able to add it to my forum through a mod on the vBulletin.org forum. But I was just talking about the buttons in general. I'm sure people can manually go in and put in the code for the buttons. I also have Facebook connected to my log-in system, so people that want to sign up for the forum can just go through their Facebook account.

That is what you are talking about though, someone just made a MOD on VB for it I guess.

Yes. I use the Like system on my WP, my vB and once it's released on a plug in, my Social Network.

I'm using both the Like system for Facebook and a Twitter "Tweet Topic" button in the top right corner of the first post in every thread. There's already so much social networking stuff built in I didn't want it to be too overboard but with the whole Like craze just starting up it's silly not to put it in your forums and hope people click it and share with their friends.

IPB has this built in I believe, along with Twitter and a few other social bookmarks.
