Familial Ramblings vs Football Addict

I voted Familial Ramblings.
It's more original, in my opinion.
 
They both look pretty good, but I voted Familial Ramblings. Seems like it's got a more professional site and is generally more impressive than Football Addict.

Maybe some of the featured images to be honest. The second, third and fifth one look great, but the others look a bit stretched out and don't look right. As in, like this one:

Maybe you can find a bigger shot and crop it in a different way for the featured image 'thumbnail'. That's sort of what I do on my own WordPress sites, editing the image to make a small 'thumbnail'/'featured image' before I write the article and upload the picture in question.

I'm also not sure about some of the gradients like those to the right. Look a bit off if you ask me, but I'm not sure why.

Other than that though, your site is fantastic. It's just that I thought the other one was just that bit slightly better and so I voted likewise.

Difficult to say, though, content in both are great, too many things on Familial blogs are wrong, mainly footer will all these images in different size.

Could you please elaborate on the "many things" that are wrong? You only listed one, which I, personally, don't see as wrong. Considering the images are representing different places, I don't have a lot of control over what sizes they are.
 
I used a few computers daily, at least 4, 4 types of screens with 4 resolutions, on big resolutions, images at the bottom are not responsive, it messing a bit the layout. Page link in header, good eyes sees them, people with eye problems can hardly ready, dark red over green, sorry it hurts. Finally, you don't know where articles ends and where sidebar starts, as a result, all articles are aligned on left and sidebar is centered, that gives you an impression of a messy blog.

These are my own views, as you open abattle I believe you accept getting critics.

However, your theme is original and fresh, it gives a plus, still, Football Addict is more organized (at first sight) and considering that FA is a young blog as FR is a bit older, credits goes for FA.

I never said I had a problem with criticism, that's why I asked for further explanation, lol.

What size resolution(s) are you using so that I can further investigate that? I have used a variety of sizes as well and have never had a problem with it, so I'm curious as to what size you're having trouble with.

Do you mean in the navigation bar? There is no red, so I'm guessing you mean the brown in the navigation bar, which I will fix later on.

Also, could you elaborate on what you mean by "you don't know where the articles end and where the sidebar starts"? Actually, if you could take a screen shot and PM it to me, that would be great because I don't see what you're describing. The sidebar isn't centered on any of the browsers I've tested it on or computers, so I'm interested in seeing what you see--especially because no one else has ever mentioned any of these problems to me.

If you could also explain the problem you are having with that specific link, that would be fantastic because, again, I'm not having trouble with it and no one else is to my knowledge. Feel free to PM me if you'd like so this doesn't end up being a review topic. It would be appreciated. 🙂
