FAQ

Yes, on HogEx I do have an FAQ available to members. Apart from that, I have a member guide written and available for new and current users that explains how to do and or find certain things because there's so much customization built in to my project.
 
Yes definitely! FAQ is an important part of your website when you are delivering a business. This helps browsers know more about your services and products, and helps to answer simple questions.
 
I have the default FAQ that comes with the software if someone really needs to ask a question regarding the forum they should do so. I find the FAQ's unused and in the way. The only time I can see them being useful in the sense that people would take time out of their day to read them is if the forum specialises in a niche to where members have to fill out posts just so and participate in events just so.
 
We don't have one, but there is a useful guide for new members, which pretty much answers any questions one might have (it's a thread in the intro section). I don't think a FAQ page is needed.
 
I have the defaults, but we removed the link on most of the themes because it cluttered up the user links. Most of the rules have things that are important, or members with questions are free to ask questions when they may have one 😀
