Put basically, I wanted to test my ability to create a forum by editing a skin to meet my individual purpose. I think I managed to do that quite successfully and although I have no personal interest to launch the site, I would love it if someone did - I would even be willing to work along side them.
The website is hosted with IcyBoards - wouldn't be that hard to just export the skin and move it to a self hosted myBB. The site address is: http://farcryforum.icyboards.net/index.php and I have not purchased a top level domain.
Whats unique is the fact that I have added a store system where you can post to earn points and then spend those points to buy the weapons seen in Far Cry 3 which then display in your profile. I think that is a pretty nice touch.
I think the forum can be successful with some advertising, a top level domain and some content creation. Therefore, if anyone wants to take on this project feel free to send me a PM and we can work something out.
