Fast & FREE Forum Image Hosting!

bumpity bump bump.

Why did I start o0.nz? Lots of image hosts have closed or made changes to their terms recently. In the recent past, ImageShack and Photobucket devastated their fans by preventing hotlinking and replacing images with ads. Many image hosts don't allow forums and communities to hotlink. Lots have very restrictive upload limits. Some are super spammy with popups or popunders. Some are DAMM SLOW. ARGH! So I started this to provide a simple but very useful image host which is fast, allows hotlinking, lets you upload 30MB images and works with forums/ communities and not against them.

Album is misspelled in your picture.
I do have one question though. What do you plan to do when your server starts filling up. What are your plans to bring in revenue if your host is free to upload to?

He already has multiple ads. OP, I'd work on the placement of them if you want to increase your revenue.

Good spotting. Will get that fixed when I get back (home and to my desktop)!

The server can't really "full up" as such. I have a fixed cost per GB (basically).

Yes. The plan is to use AdSense which I find are the least offensive and highest quality (in general). There's a few variables but the most important are page RPM and the hotlinking to view traffic ratio. But - yes will need to work on type and placement. Do you have any recommendations?

This is cool! I recently made an image-host script but this is much much cooler! Did you make this from scratch?

No - this is simply a readily available script. 🙂

I did think about going down the custom route too but in this case the right, well-designed, script was already available which is excellent.

429 images hosted!

447 images hosted!

Did you know you can add an o0.nz image uploader to your forum? Ask me how!

Still up. Just an image hosting/sharing site with great features. 🙂

Sorry been having some issues with LetsEncrypt. I switched to Cloudflare but mistakenly thought I could switch back when I issued the cert. successfully. All up now. You should never have any issues with the images themselves. They are on a separate CDN/server/SSL cert.
🙂

I am going to be attempting to solve the SSL issue once again. You may notice the main site is inaccessible during this time. But- solving this should speed up page loading by ~0.5s.

Let me know if anything is not working! 🙂

Yes i have a graphics site, we lost a lot of images due to PB and a few other ones. I use a boards file database now, But this is a great idea

Thank you! Would love to see o0.nz used on your forum. 🙂 Out of interest, do you have a space limit on Jcink? Because then I'm sure o0.nz would be very useful (apart from the other features: albums, CDN, image control etc.).

Yeah we do have a limit, of 500mb, so eventually when you use up one boards limits then you have to start another board and keep going with that. But as you know, 500 mbs is a lot of images. We did go with another host called imgZB, and do have some images with that host but have been slowlt transferring all images to the board we use for the files, i think it is down to the fact that we have been bitten to many times now to go with another, nothing against any hosts that are out there including yours, just that it gets tiring having to redo everything over and over again. And the fact that when there us downtime on both images and board are down....

500mb isn't too bad depending on the average size of each image. 🙂 but definitely a process to move boards.

Yup... I do understand that it would be very frustrating! I'm hoping that I've created something that is sustainable as I know that it is tough for a lot of image hosts to generate revenue and control costs. Perhaps, if o0.nz is still up in another 6 months you might consider using it?! 😉
