I think it will easier to promote and get targeted traffic to earn cash for sub-categories with a huge following like "Fable Action RPG gaming for Xbox 360" provided you have a lot of interesting topics on "Fable 1 and 2" for "Fable Action RPG for Xbox 360" forum.
Making a huge forum dedicated to Video gaming and computer gaming seems very difficult to earn revenue since you will be competing against established gaming websites with forums like GameFAQ, Gamespot, IGN, GameTrailers, and many other forums.
