I know how to upload a favicon but it never comes out transperent. Even when it's already transperent it gets an white or black background.

Is the favicon you're trying to use in .ico format?

Seeing as .ico's support transparency, the original image you used to create the .ico must be causing the black and white.

The original image was already transperent

It should be transparent then, so I'm not really sure what the problem could be. What size is the favicon? It should be either 32x32 or 16x16, otherwise it could turn out less than desirable.

If it's no problem for you, check out http://www.favicon.cc/ and create it that way -- it should work perfectly.

I had this problem, so i use a .png and for some odd reason it worked, you should try it 😉.
