I'd have to probably say Jeremiah 29:11 or Joshua 24:15. 🙂

Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

and

Revelation 1:12-16 "I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance."

I should note that I am not a Christian myself (I am more along the lines of a Nihilist / Atheist), but I do appreciate some good Bible verses.

James 1:2: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,"

James 1:12: "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."

1 Corinthians 13:4: "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t arrogant…."

These are probably my favorites. XgQN3QL.webp

I'm not very well-versed (hah, get it?) at the Bible, but there was this one Matthew verse about how you "can't serve both God and money" that I appreciate for the sake of debates. There was also this verse I enjoyed in which Jesus gets very annoyed with a fig tree for not bearing fruit and kills it.

“Be still, and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10

"Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" - 2 Corinthians 5:7

I love the first verse you quoted.

Bumping this to see what others have. 🙂

Yes it is. That was the Bible verse that was laid upon both my wife's heart and my heart as well. We've held strong to that verse as a couple. From the time that we started dating, to when we got married, and even now. 😀
