Whats your Fav Web browser? Why do you like it.
Mine is Firefox!

Whats yours?

P.S watch this topic get big

Lol.. I have replied forms of this topic probably about a million times in my internet life. This must be the number most asked question on forums across the net. ~lol~

I'd have to agree with theezy, in that I've answered this hundreds of times ~razz~

Anyway FireFox with the Google Chrome skin for me. That way I get the best of both worlds, clean layout and a high performance browser with all the add-ons ~smile~

Once I made the switch from Internet Destroyer, I have always been Firefox.

My favorite browser is Mozilla Firefox 3. But I also use Internet Explorer 7 sometimes as it is VERY slow, especially for someone like me with slower internet connections -lol-

firefox as its safer 😀
Could you at very least check your facts before you utter completly false information? We've already been through this, no browser is truely "safer" than another, although going strictly be record Opera has had the least exploits (Yes I went and checked >_<) of any of them. This could simply be because its the 3rd largest used. The number of exploits means NOTHING, its the time it takes to fix them, and stable the browser again.

When using IE, you always have atleast 2 exploits affecting your system. FireFox can have 1, although I will admit they do a fairly good job patching. With Opera you can feel completly safe, as its patched the quickest.

Actually based upon the latest statistics released by W3, IE6 is the 3rd most used browser...not opera which ranks a mere 6th.

Browser usage stats (since chrome was released)

FireFox:__43.8%
IE 7:_____26.47%
IE 6:_____20.52%
Chrome:__3.2%
Safari:___ 2.72%
Opera:___ 2.22%
Netscape: 0.42%

I would suggest you check your stats before telling other members they are "uttering completely false information".

Also be aware that many statistics may have an incomplete or faulty browser detection. It is quite common by many web-stats report programs, not to detect the newest browsers.
I was not relying on pure figures and percents to come up with the fact its the 3rd widely used. I was basing that statement off the fact that IE6 and IE7 should be combined, and counted as one. Usually, in the browser wars, and topics with polls regarding which one is the best, only 3 choices appear, IE, FireFox, and Opera. Chrome is next to unheard of by anyone other than web programmers, unless you happen to see their ad on youtube. Safari is the default browser for Mac's, which accounts for its use. Thats also why IE (all versions) beat FireFox as the most used browser, because it comes standard.

Sorry for not stating how I came up with that figure, but I didnt want to bore you with a long paragraph such as this detailing why I said what I did. My point is still proven as before, only now theres an extra paragraph to read.
